Knowing her she just couldn't be bothered. I'm remembering also being told no at some point... Then it was yes when I pushed the point. I believe they were having issues with a supplier in the past, and the quality of the product. I'm sure it had to do with issues with the product but they they got another supplier and all was ok. If you really want it ryalls just query it and ask why you were told no, but have heard other coral clients are having it installed. They might offer you a variation C U S T O M. C O R A L. In all honesty i cant be bothered dealing with them and id rather give my money to someone else!! Ive had a quote done for it recently by a company who just did a great job of my parents and it was a few hundred less then people are mentioning on here so will just leave it. _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5226Aug 29, 2016 3:52 pm Hi everyone. Can anyone tell me what sort of windows is standard with Coral. The display homes we have seen lately are the ones where you wind the windows to open outwards, but I noticed in some forums, they are sliding windows. I hope it make sense lol Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5227Aug 29, 2016 4:02 pm Tamara1975 Hi everyone. Can anyone tell me what sort of windows is standard with Coral. The display homes we have seen lately are the ones where you wind the windows to open outwards, but I noticed in some forums, they are sliding windows. I hope it make sense lol Hi Tamara, it depends on your floorplan as to what is standard on the default plans, but you can pick and choose whatever you want, so long as there are no structural issues. If you explain to your consultant whether you want awning (push out), sliding, double hung (slides up and down), they should be able to ensure your plans are updated. Coral use A&L Windows currently so pop on to their webpage and take a look to get a feel for what you like My advice- triple check your plans. Somehow I missed a double hung window in my WIR that should have been awning. Also think about the position of your home on the block, to ensure you allow for cross breezes etc C U S T O M. We upgraded to boutique picture windows in our lounge and activity areas Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5230Aug 29, 2016 5:09 pm viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81406[/quote] Thank you. With the lighter bricks it doesn't seem to stand out too much. Here is a pic of our part finished alfresco. As you can see, there will be 3 separate areas of sheeting. Would probably look better if it was just one panel across. I had a chat to our ss this afternoon and his best advice would be to paint it a colour to match the bricks or else it will cost thousands and delay weeks and weeks. I think that is what we will do for now. It would probably work out cheaper to render the alfresco and portico down the track if we really hate it. It's turns out we done have one in ur olaundry or garage toilet.. What was the outcome to this for others?? Will it be same thing I will need addressed? I had heard that if the full is to an external door that it is fine is this true? We are at form work stage and had noticed this yesterday afternoon and I am guessing concrete will done sometimes this week. Didn't what to call SS unless it was same thing needed... Thanks in advance. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=83796 . Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5236Aug 30, 2016 6:20 pm For floor traps we have one on each bathroom. I believe it is based on council requirements, if council requires it on all wet areas then it will be provisioned. It takes wisdom to build a house, and understanding to set it on a firm foundation; It takes knowledge to furnish its rooms with fine furniture and beautiful draperies. Proverbs 24:3-4 Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5237Aug 30, 2016 8:15 pm We don't have one in our laundry. I want one but my husband doesn't think we need one. His theory is we haven't flooded the washing machine in the 13 years we've been together so he doesn't think the chances are high Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5238Aug 30, 2016 8:18 pm How many actually have temporary fencing? None of the Coral builds in my estate have the temp fencing. We don't have the money allocated separately in the tender it just said included, but our sales rep said we will definitely get the money reimbursed if we don't require the fencing. How much is allocated on other peoples tenders? Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5239Aug 31, 2016 5:45 am shortnstumpy How many actually have temporary fencing? I got mine back, it was approx $1070 or something like that, maybe a bit more i cant remember, but they credited me that amount off my total variations at the end.
