We were so disappointed because we got on really well with our SS. We were told that our new SS would call us that day & 4 days later he finally rang. To tell you the truth we'd already pre-judged him & were thinking no one could compare to our first SS. Anyway, the phone call put us at ease a little. Yesterday we got home & went to check on the progress of the house & our SS was just leaving the site. We went over & introduced ourselves & he took us through the house & explained where it was up to etc. He is an awesome guy! Even more efficient than our previous SS, yay. I never really understood what would classify as 'minor hiccups' in the building journey but I'm learning first hand now. And, they are just minor hiccups, if you speak up as soon as you notice or if the SS is thorough, then the hiccups are fixed while other jobs keep moving along. Although, we've hit a little delay with the wrong shower base being delivered, which has stopped the plasterers, which delays the kitchen installation - but, first world problems, hey? And in the past Simonds makes up the time fairly quickly. viewtopic.php?uid=71435&f=31&t=82862&start=40 Re: Our Simonds Build - Leon/Westbury 149Aug 12, 2016 8:01 pm A few photos for an update Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ viewtopic.php?uid=71435&f=31&t=82862&start=40 Re: Our Simonds Build - Leon/Westbury 150Aug 12, 2016 8:02 pm Woohoo looking good!
