Hi,
Is there a computer program that would create a 3d model based on the information from a 2D drawings? I don't expect miracles so I'm happy to type the data manually.

I am terrible at it I must admit, but it gives you a look at the house. Used it for my house and have rendered pictures of the whole house. Also has a function to take pictures from any angle within the build. Most people on these forums asking about a CAD program are only after something that they can draw their floorplans and elevations with and do a few renders for their house, that's all. For that they want something free like Sketchup or $100 or so. To ask them to cough up $2,700 for CA premier may be a tad too rich for a one off nor the associated learning curve.
