Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Switch Homes. PCI WHAT A JOKE 384Jun 06, 2016 6:31 pm As I have already commented PCI was done on the 31st which really was a bit of a joke SS being there for only 30 mins
Housepect report came back with 58 items that need correcting mostly cosmetic and issue with a blocked drain, leaking eaves and stuff like that. They have sent an email last Tue morning 9am (not bad since they tried to cancel 60mins before PCI which was for 12.30) notify us that we had reached Practical Completion & we have to notify them within 5 working days of anything that has to be done, also our maintenance period ends on the 31/11/16 and they want payment within 10 working days. Not bad considering the SS went on holidays the afternoon of our PCI and he wanted to reschedule our PCI for the next day Hubby is really p#ssed as they have 3 days to get the house up to scratch before Friday Key day I have attached a couple of pics as to how the house was presented fro your laughs Front door no door handle, the painter in his wisdom pained over the glass garage door no handle and not mortar around the sides Would I recommend this company no I would not!! Re: Switch Homes. PCI WHAT A JOKE 386Jun 06, 2016 8:17 pm Decka Oh how bizarre.. There are a lot of bizarre things ............ we'll see what they say tomorrow we did have an email saying all should be good for the 10th hmmmmmmmmmmmm watch this space Re: Switch Homes. PCI WHAT A JOKE 387Jun 08, 2016 7:47 am Good luck Petad, it is so frustrating that you just want trades to do a good job. Re: Switch Homes. Keys Sat 11th 388Jun 08, 2016 7:53 pm Apparently we are supposed to be getting keys on Sat 8am That should be quite interesting as nothing has been done since PCI, SS went on hols and his tradies must of had hols as well. There are 73 items that need fixing let alone a clean and floor scrap the hubby got a phone call from management today saying trades are on site hubby told him no one was there 1 1/2 hours ago the reply was I can guarantee they are there now unfortunately nobody was there today except us meeting our paving contractor. Every time we go there we see more and more things wrong or broken, its like being in a never-ending nightmare. Fingers crossed it will end soon. I wish I had believed in the reviews instead of giving them the benefit of doubt. My mind boggles how they can treat customers like this. Re: Switch Homes. Keys Sat 11th 390Jun 08, 2016 8:22 pm mamakan oh no... hopefully everything will be done by Saturday morning please keep your fingers crossed Re: Switch Homes.
