So glad we spent the extra and increased the size. Also happy we went with a hinged door and not pivot. Your build is powering along. They are Eclipse bricks aren't they? Did you do off-white mortar? Yes Eclipse with Off white and Ironed joints. Will be checking over them very closely to make sure the edges of bricks are covered Cheers, Paul (& Lisa) Parkhill 36 by ClarendonHomes in Coomera Retreat H1 Build Thread And Blog Building Blogs List - Go Ahead And Add Yours!! Windows! 439Dec 05, 2015 12:49 pm Omg all the pics woo hoo where do I start??? Bricks are a awesome colour, love them they will pop with the white mortar. The wiring in your house is insane!!! Looks like you have been over ran with spaghetti snakes . You have defiantly done well to make sure the house is well equipped. Great pic of your lovely girls, the door is fab too . Is the door going to be painted black or a bold colour??? Say red roo you know you want too. Maybe yellow!!!! Ohhh go up to riverstone crossing to mountain view parade and look at the two story place up there it has a yellow front door it looks so good. Windows all look great too, heaps of natural light. I see what you mean about the fixed window to the alfresco, you will get used to it but it would annoy me too, it's such a minor thing to miss . Stoked to see so much progress at your place Re: Clarendon Parkhill 36 in Coomera Retreat. Windows! 440Dec 05, 2015 5:12 pm Thanks Tribe. Even the guy doing the data cables said I am adding more than he would suggest to anyone but I dont care lol. It's costing me but I'm so stressed about not having enough done after the house is completed and then not being able to get those cables in. Would rather just go over the top a little.. ok.. maybe a lot but at least I know I'm covered lol. Door is being painted by Clarendon in Surf Mist. They wont honour the warranty if I paint it black so it's going to get a two tone finish.... Black frame, Black to the inside to match the rest of the internal colours but the outside is probably going to go a rich yellow. I might.. I say might... paint the small frames around the glass in black to highlight them. Not committed to that just yet though. I might make a trip out that way tomorrow morning and have a look. Back to work tomorrow night to keep paying for everything lmao. That Alfresco window is just hmmm.... I know most would look at it and say it's fine but it's just not the clear image I had in my mind so it's gunna take a bit of time for me to accept it lol. I have even rang Dowell to discuss it. Would need to replace the entire window to get the single pane that I wanted.
