HI xxkatxx - I saw you've had capped outside plumbing for a later shower done - without going through your thread again did you have any issues with this? What did they charge you for it? They said we could have it at prestart only to now, 3 months down the line insist they need to do tiling etc.

Hello

we are enjoying our lovely home but still have some things to do....The outdoor shower being one of them lol its actually on the top of the to do list for the next few weeks

From memory it was around $350 for hot and cold capped plumbing on the side of the house. There were no other issues regarding tiles etc and nothing that they said was required in addition to the plumbing. It may be a council requirement now? Good luck!

Oh and ours was literally just hot and cold tap capped plumbing. No drainage and no provision for a shower head. If yours is for all of that then that may be the issue?

Thanks, xxkatxx - that was all we'd asked for, capped hot and cold plumbing! So at a bit of a loss. We'll have to take the cheapest tile option and then waste money re-doing it afterwards seeing as we can't choose anything from here. Oh well, if only they'd said so when we were there it would have been ok.

I'm so glad you're enjoying your new house - I hope you'll find time at some stage to show us some more pictures
