I always felt no one else would understand/appreciate the roller coaster of building. And I'm pretty sure the house build turned me into a full blown alcoholic, I'm only slowly cutting back now . Hope they can get a tiler on the job asap and that they fix the garage etc quickly. Oct pci is very exciting and really just around the corner. It's surviving the next 2 months that'll be the challenge. Good luck with the new job.
