Can't wait to be finished. Good luck with your build Re: Metricon Laguna 40 Kingston ydney 5May 31, 2015 9:04 pm We just realised yesterday that it comes with a standard hot water tank, we discussed getting a continuous system. He said it is an option but didn't seem to hot on the idea. Did anyone upgrade theirs? Any advice? We are a happy family with 2 kids so don't think a standard tank would hold up especially when the inlaws come over. Great floor plan and some very good ideas you have for making it your own. We added a walk in robe and study nook to our daughters room and are very pleased with how it's looking. We have just finished framing stage and we couldn't be happier with Metricon. We are getting a gas continuous hot water system as we have 5 children so it a fail safe for us (we have a gas system in our current house and it's very good). Best of luck getting everything organised to start your build. Re: Metricon Laguna 40 Kingston ydney 7Jun 01, 2015 1:34 am Nice house Neville. We were considering a smaller Metricon two story (Elysian) ... it missed out by a whisker. What façade are you choosing? Re: Metricon Laguna 40 Kingston ydney 8Jun 01, 2015 6:35 am Thanks Tribe, how much was the extra cost for the continuous system? And what size did you go for? And what size did you go for? The rheem integrity gas system was standard for us, if we wanted a hot water cylinder is was a $1,600 charge to have that instead. Re: Metricon Laguna 40 Kingston Sydney 18Jun 03, 2015 7:35 am Nice plan and choices! I personally wouldn't do this though: "Change pantry to allow access to laundry" You lose a whole wall of storage in the pantry and it lets damp in to your pantry.
