I have sent my CSC an email asking, but I am too impatient to wait until the morning, in case someone else knows the answer... We are only having Clarendon tile our wet area's and will tile the downstairs main area's after handover. Does anyone know if Clarendon will allow you to supply your own tiles for the wet area's? Hubby and I spent well over an hour at Tile Direct on Saturday and couldn't find anything for the floor tiles... We have something REALLY specific in mind that we want to do / use, and we want the same floor tile in the wet area's and main floor area, so want them to be a perfect / same match.. My hubby's boss has the exact tiles we want, and the store he got them from still stocks them, so we know we can get what we want and for a good price too! Well you can, if you use a supplier that tile direct can also use. We found a tile we liked for our main floor, took it in and tried to match it/ complement it for the wet areas. When I said where we got it, she was able to ring of their supplier and I was able to get the same tile for my downstairs wet areas. Just make sure you have the product code, colour, description, etc. And be aware the grout lines won't line up and there might be some variation on batch colour, but as there is a step up to these areas, I didn't think that mattered. Thanks so much Cheryl! I was hoping that doing something like this would be a possibility... We are going to head to a few tile shops and try to find exactly what we are after and I was hoping something like this might be a possibility! I just got my kitchen plans back for our kitchen. It shows the 40mm bench tops and only 20mm waterfall edges. Is this right? The way I understood it was the whole lot was 40mm. I just double checked the terms and conditions we were given on the summer of free promotion and it just says 40mm stone edge bench tops with waterfall edge in lieu of standard 20mm edge. To me, that says the waterfall should be 40mm. Am glad I went round as they were able to take them off and fix without damaging the wall...don't know why I bothered meeting them last week to run through everything. Just goes to show you have to be on top of everything! Yeah I don't get this kind of mistake.. it's not like they don't have plans.. it's not like they haven't been personally instructed.. it's not like they pick random tiles from a random source (ie. specific tiles are ordered and delivered in specific quantities.).. boggles the mind. We are building a Sheridan also and would love to see some photos of others Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 6254Apr 22, 2015 7:46 am Wow lots of Sheridans being built we are going with the Sheridan 34 but once we finished with the plans it doesn't much look like the Sheridan anymore haha! BK84 we are at the same stage. We paid our deposit almost 3 weeks ago and are awaiting our tender. Got an email last week saying clarendon was inundated with new tenders so it would be awhile before our tender presentation! I have found that Clarendon (well at least in QLD) tend to give you the worse case scenario time wise but for us it has never taken as long as they said. Have you got any plans we can see? I love to see what we could have done hahaha.. ok maybe that isn't such a good idea. I don't need regrets lol Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 6256Apr 22, 2015 9:42 am Jayjay84 Lizzy083 That's strange, maybe because its Oran Park? In Harrington Park 90% of the houses have third garage? Maybe its accepted in Harrington Park where there is also a rule not allowed to build a house smaller than 300sqm! I talked to land sales at harrington grove today about third car garages. He said as long as all three garages don't make up more than 50% of ur facade it should be fine.... Thanks Jayjay84, I just checked and its a little under 50% of our facade. Thank God! Thanks for checking! Isn't the Country Club awesome?! We are already members and have to pay our fees cause we own the land even though there's no house there yet... Building the Clarendon Merriden 30 (44 after Mods) @ Harrington Grove! Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 6260Apr 22, 2015 10:53 am Might want to check denot. That is what I was told and I have the new plan with 40mm waterfall edges. It would be difficult to mitre 40mm to 20mm stone without it looking silly, given they are two different widths. the stair balustrades? There is nothing special about these and I imagine literally every stair installer will be able to do this. 1 7117 The two 15mm holes are obviously not compliant.
