When did your land register? Yeah that's what I loved is that they have fir so much into the size of house and still kept good sizes for each room. That ensuite is great! I'm very jealous of that I think that seems to be the way it goes, I was lucky enough (or crazy stalker enough) to get priority one for my release so I ended up paying more to get a bigger flat block just down the road from beautiful regional park so I sucked it up and paid it, which in hindsight is good because my site costs are much less than what I would have had to pay so it's probably ended up fairly even but I get more for my money winning! Oh wow! I would love to see those plans, it sounds really interesting, did plan alterations cost much? That's my next step to go through all the structural stuff and decide on any changes... Which will be easy cause I don't have the money to change anything lol plus I really love it as is.. Luckily! Thank you ️ I haven't selected anything properly yet this is just my obsessing in the colour room at the display centre.. I was happily allowed to stay in there for as long as I liked so I got a good idea of things I like most.. It will be so exciting to go sit with the colour consultant. Have you been to Beaumont tiles as yet? If so is their standard range good? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I like it and can stick to standard for pretty much everything What colour scheme are you going for? Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 9Nov 27, 2014 9:03 pm Few more pics... Interior and front door handles: a few possible options internally I think they're quite nice, external is a toss up between the left 2.. I'd be happy with either Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Roof tiles: either of the classic options, I think I prefer the flat profile in a similar charcoal colour Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Laminate flooring: so many options really have no idea.. We did a few trips to Beaumonts looking at tiles. Was worth it though as by the time we did the tile selection we has made firm decisions. Good luck! It's exciting times ahead Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 11Nov 27, 2014 11:10 pm ASH Jordan Springs Oh that's really exciting!! When did your land register? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I like it and can stick to standard for pretty much everything What colour scheme are you going for? It's expected to register next week with settlement on 17 Dec. Great Christmas present! Haha I totally crazy stalked the land developers, the sales guy was probably sick of me pestering him by the end. That's great about your block, close to a park is fantastic and flat/level, even better. Plan alterations cost nothing in themselves, but the changes you make add up! Actually when we paid initial deposit I think there was a $250 fee to draw a custom plan (although it's still very much a Noosa). I cannot wait to make official selections Beaumonts let you take free samples home which is great as you can see the tiles in different lights at different times of day. If you are doing flooring through coral, you can pick from gold and silver ranges, which are really decent. Haha, at first I said no beige or cream, now guess what colour scheme we have? can't wait to see your selections come together. Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 12Nov 28, 2014 9:22 pm That's such a great Christmas present!! I'm so excited for my land to register, I haven't stalked my sales office yet but they better believe it'll be coming when the date gets closer lol! Yeah I thought so too, it's a pretty perfect first block and I love the location so I'm happy with the extra I spent because it's well worth it ️ Oh ok that's cool, I guess they will ask me when I get to that stage.. I think a trip to Beaumonts will be on the cards this weekend it's all very exciting! Little scary hoping that all colours match in the end Haha I'm sure all the selections you've made are beautiful, makes it so easy to accessorise too Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 14Nov 30, 2014 9:07 am Thanks Emma I just take my iPad everywhere lol I haven't even done my colour appointment yet so there will be many more photos to come ️ I love watching everyone's builds come together! Did your land register yet? Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 15Nov 30, 2014 9:14 am I'll have to dig through my paperwork and Google the items we selected and add it to the thread! Our colour consultation was the most draining 4 hours lol we had to pick everything that day. We'd had so many arguments over what colour freakin kitchen we were having lol Not yet, it was at land titles on the 19th so with a little luck it may be ready next week Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 16Nov 30, 2014 9:40 am It's so good to have pics of it all, it's just helping me visualise it, a few things were from the last inclusions package but my rep told me the taps etc would still be similar. I'm so excited to pick colours, no arguments when you're doing it by yourself lol! Thank god! My sister works at LTO and she told me last week my street was in there so I assume that would be yours as well since our streets are close if you're on flagship? I'm on Matthew bell.. But right down the other side near greenwood.. So yours should be on track Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 17Nov 30, 2014 9:54 am I couldn't imagine having to do it on my own lol When's your colour consultation? Do they have an office local to here or are you required to travel? Yes, I'm on Flagship be good when all our houses tart going up. I'm sure we will run into one another at some point while we do the walks around checking everyone's progress Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 18Nov 30, 2014 10:06 am I couldn't either but I wasn't waiting around for my partner lol, he has a lot going on with footy and uni so until he either makes the big time week in week out or finishes uni and settles into a full time job it just wasn't possible. But it's ok because he's happy to help and he will pay me back in the future when I bring out the maternity leave and for my extravagant engagement ring lol!!! It will be in the new year, I have to organise structural changes first (none anyway unless I need to change something for JS or council) so hopefully I will fly through that That's awesome, yes I'm sure we will I can't wait to see some more houses going up.. I'm too excited to have a road and eventually be able to stand on my block! At the moment it's a big red hole lol and last time I was up there was a huge load of dirt on what I think is my block Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 19Nov 30, 2014 2:28 pm I went and had a look at Beaumont tiles today, going to stay in my standard inclusions! I'm determined lol I just have to check with coral about feature tiles and if they're included.. Otherwise I know what I'm getting from Santa this year lol! Here are some tiles I played around with.. Do you think it's ok to use in the bathrooms and as a kitchen splashback? That's how much I love it.. Option for kitchen splashback though with the ice snow bench Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I was in the store for ages but not the longest lol met a nice young couple and we had similar tastes, they seemed to be happy that I was grabbing tiles everywhere and making my own colour boards because they started to do the same... I really don't care if I look silly, I need to find some good matches, I'll rearrange the store if I have to (I put everything back ) Let me know what you think and I'm happy for suggestions My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 20Nov 30, 2014 4:58 pm Like your choices. I personally would do a different splash back in the kitchen. Is that the Carrara Bianco hexagon mosaic? If so, that is what we have chosen for our main bathroom. We actually opted to do a whole feature wall. Had a bit of a shock when we got the cost through but we've gone with it. We also have the same stone but in penny rounds for a feature vanity wall in the ensuite. I think ice snow is an upgrade from coral's standard Ceasarstone range and we were told approx $140/m2 extra. If you like it it's worth it though. You'll only regret it down the track and then it's too hard and costly to change it! Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14701 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4741 hi guys. Please be nice. First time home builder in Qld. I would like some feedback please on whether I should build my granny flat first before my main house at the… 0 4992 |
