I had a comment from a couple of people how tidy our building site is, as I've always been there picking up the rubbish and where possible put in the wheely bin where we're living or taking other stuff to the tip. I don't have a skip bin either, although I might still get one. I've also been doing some garden work from time to time in locations where building works won't trample across it (being on 1.1 acres/4661sq m helps). You can't do that with a project builder, as they won't allow you onsite to work. Don't forget if you're digging trenches for the sparky, got to be 600mm deep all the way. Admittedly most of our jobs were renos or additions so we had to keep the place reasonably tidy anyway as the people were usually living there. By using a trailer you will save yourself a fortune over the duration of a build. Like with your experience our customers used to comment too how tidy our sites were compared to other builds. Stewie Sorry but you have a crap builder. Probably too late now. For our last build I only spoke to builders who would allow me easy access (at no cost). I used my own sparky… 10 10071 If so what were the "special circumstances" under which it was granted?
