I might offer the hubby up for sale instead...! Who would mow the lawn then?? I almost missed half of your lovely selections Did you add them later to a post? Good thing I noticed it too - you've chosen well! I love the cat, the cat damage demo and the upgraded carpet (I didn't even know you could get blue window frames - learn something new every day) Re: Yanchep WA Build with Dreamstart Homes WOO HOO! 55Sep 24, 2014 12:51 pm Rache Ha ha! You're so funny!! My OH doesn't have a single bit of fashion or décor sense, and couldn't have cared less, so he is only just finding out now what the house is going to look like!! He wanted red brick with a green roof...and that's about where his input stopped!! Bless!!!! Hahahaha omg they are hopeless. I like the fact that your OH didn't get either of the things he asked for. Like mine.... Overkill, much?! Unfortunately, I mow the lawn around here. I am electronics whiz, toilet fixer, gardener, cleaner, cook, blah blah. They say if you spread yourself too thin you get sub-par. I'm a great example of that. Terrible cook. Ordinary cleaner. Great toilet fixer though. Now that I think about it, I am really struggling to see the point of my OH. Oh yes. That's right, he earns the money. And the kids kind of like him. He is also very good at digging trenches, laying drains, concreting and putting in soakwells. Hidden perks, you know? Those one-off's you need every decade or two then that's it. Only joking hahahaha Yanchep build with Dreamstart Homes ____________________________________________________________ Our build thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=73323 Re: Yanchep WA Build with Dreamstart Homes WOO HOO! 57Sep 24, 2014 1:12 pm sofia14 Which solver paint shop did you go to? The brochure provided by DS advises us to visit one of the solver paint decorator centers and speak to a colour consultant. It has a list.....So we did. The lady even told us to come back with our roof tile and brick since we didn't bring them last time. We got few sets of colour sample. Which ones are the Solver Decorator Centres? I just went to the closest on that list. Don't think any of them had done any colour consultancy work or they would surely have noticed me. I did ask for their advice on some of my choices but the most I ever got back was that "yes that's a popular colour". Don't get me wrong, they were always nice people. But I suspect I'd need to actually call and make an appointment somewhere else for a colour consultant given the advice you received. I think those one-off's are crucial..... so I think he should be saved Re: Yanchep WA Build with Dreamstart Homes WOO HOO! 59Sep 24, 2014 9:42 pm I went to the success one. Ha..maybe the lady felt bad that we couldn't find their store. They moved out of the success shopping area and we were using the old address. Or maybe there wasn't too busy that day. Keep him..at least while he's digging trenches - that's bloody hard work!!!!!!:-):-) Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense.
