Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Ben Trager - Secret Harbour- Yay! More roof 363Apr 03, 2014 10:38 pm Another really productive day by the roof carpenters. The fascias and eaves have been started too. It's really starting to look like a house! The colorbond in the background is the roof of the upper storey. Because we've pushed the master suite right to the rear for the Ocean view, it looks like 2 different houses depending on the viewing position. We think it's fantastic and adds real interest to the design. oncewerefurriers The upper storey has almost disappeared from the 'road' side Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ (View standing on the slab of the house opposite) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ oncewerefurriers and from the 'Ocean' side it's started to lose the awkwardness, Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ oncewerefurriers But the balcony still stands out. We imagine it will look even better when the colorbond goes on. Hopefully, that will be soon. A few more pictures now the fascias and eaves are finished. The water and electric 1st fix is complete. The colorbond is nearly finished. Definitely goes well with your domino render. Glas to see everythkng moving along nicely Re: Ben Trager - Secret Harbour- Colorbond Part Deux 380Apr 29, 2014 11:26 pm I thought the garage roof was 'smooth' as standard (can't remember terminology!) ie. didn't have the lines from all the different boards, or did they bring that in after you signed up? Also what kind of balustrade are you doing for your balcony? Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 I think the proposal that a supply and demand curve are a natural law are well exaggerated.
