Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Mar 24, 2014 7:52 pm Hi all, Just wondering on your thoughts on window furnishing for our 3 front windows. Up until now I was thinking wood timber venetians/shutters? Do you think this would be to much? The post (the down pipe is being moved from our lovely post!) and front door will be stained to match garage door. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. You may just need to be a bit careful with the colour so that it doesn't conflict with the other timber outside. Having said that, what would work with the interior of that front room? This is where you will notice them mostly rather than from outside. There are so many options these days. Plantation shutters, roman blinds etc., etc. It's looking good though, you must be pretty excited getting so close. Cheers, Jenny. Need hints, tips and inspiration? Timber shouldn't be a problem, probably a lighter colour due to your other wood. It doesn't have to be matchy-matchy though. Today is under construction. Thank you for understanding.
