All up with buyer's premium and delivery it came to a little over $900 - they came directly from Ceasarstone Company and they very nicely arranged for delivery on our behalf.
Our stonemason has quoted around $1500 for his work on the benchtops - a massive saving when the quote for supply and manufacture from one stonemason for our 4m island bench with waterfall sides was around $5k - much happier this way methinks. Re: Ikea - Now Selling Cstone 8Oct 02, 2008 8:47 am kyton Strumer, we have a stonemason who is happy to do just that...I must be really lucky to have struck the right stonemason. Sounds like you are onto a very good thing there, and the prices are quite attractive as well - you wouldn't like to have a chat with him and see if he can be convinced to move to Brisbane would you? Or maybe we could clone him... Earl. The same goes for the PERSONLIG custom made laminate benchtops. The typical IKEA benchtops, very cheap, are in limited choices demand dictated introduction of local products. As for all the custom made products clients get in touch with local fitters if they want, IKEA has a list of them but are not IKEA emploees.
Hope this explains. When we planned our kitchen I made all the enquieries, however, we ended up with getting prefabricated stone slabs from overseas and a local stonemason fitted them for us. The cost $3400 for two L shaped benches 2.4m/1.25m with one round cutout for the sink and tap. Maggie 9 24814 This is one of the reasons I decided to go overseas for my double glazed windows. As the builder indicated, he's worked on many upmarket builds, these were the most well… 13 19255 2 15470 |
