We'll take it from there.
For example if you had carpet with a width of 3.6 m then: 1) A 2 metre length would cover 7.2 square metres (that is, multiply by width), or 2) 10 square meters would require 2.778 metre length of carpet (that is, divide by width) Demolition August 2009, Construction Started September 2009, Completed December 2010 Re: How to convert Linear metre into metre square? 10Sep 29, 2008 3:57 pm wonderland I know the width of the timber is 80mm. So for 80sq metres with a 80mm width board... 80sq m/0.08m = 1000 linear metres.....does that sound about right?? But you are right on the money. Re: How to convert Linear metre into metre square? 12Sep 29, 2008 4:19 pm 80mm boards - 12.5 L/M per sq. metre
130mm boards - 7.69 L/M per sq. metre Re: How to convert Linear metre into metre square? 13Sep 29, 2008 4:30 pm Thank you to everyone who has helped!!
I'm not very mathematical so all those calculations were confusing me. Thanks to Luke, that's exactly what I wanted. All the calculations all were good, it all got to the same point. But Luke's one was easier to process!! Thanks again!! Re: How to convert Linear metre into metre square? 14Apr 01, 2009 11:06 pm It's simple. If you have 80 sq. meters, just divide it with the width of the board. Eg if your floorboards are 19cm = 0.19m wide, you will need 80/0.19 = 421 linear meters. They suggest to add at least 10% for cutoffs, so you will need 421 + 42.1 = around 463 linear meters. consider putting in wall WC instead of robe in the same bedroom, then it might be doable to hook up to the existing piping. 4 6634 No idea about the driveway question, but your price for a house that size including landscaping seems very good! 1 6174 I use Tramex moisture meter and it will tell me instantly if the wall is cement sheet or plaster or masonite but most people dont have the equipment. 5 7094 |
