Woah there! Moving fast. 147Sep 17, 2013 7:35 pm It's unbelievable how quickly things are moving. I know it's only a delivery but in lots of other threads you read that the builder promises a delivery and it gets delayed by weeks. If the rest of the build continues at this pace I'll be astounded. Take every little win as it comes along! Re: Ben Trager - Secret Harbour. Woah there! Moving fast. 149Sep 17, 2013 8:12 pm MollyAust how long from slab til delivery? 12 days. That's pretty good. Re: Ben Trager - Secret Harbour. Woah there! Moving fast. 151Sep 17, 2013 9:37 pm janicec that's awesome! Thanks janice. However a thought's just occured to us. Between the recent bad weather and the speedy delivery we can't now have a slab party. Well we can but everyone will have to stand on sand or sit on a palette of bricks. Re: Ben Trager - Secret Harbour. Woah there! Moving fast. 152Sep 17, 2013 10:00 pm Thats great news! You'll probably have brickies by the end of this week?! My Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=62841 Re: Ben Trager - Secret Harbour. Woah there! Moving fast. 153Sep 17, 2013 10:07 pm It would be amazing if we get brickies that quick. On the one hand it's fantastic the momentum that's being built up but on the other hand, we don't want them to be too quick, we've just signed a new lease on the rental house until mid April.
Re: Ben Trager - Secret Harbour. Woah there! Moving fast. 154Sep 17, 2013 10:09 pm slab party would be nice, I see you still have plenty of room between the palette of bricks, use them as tables heh fingers crossed your brickies start work soon - we're still waiting :/ Re: Ben Trager - Secret Harbour. Moving fast. 155Sep 17, 2013 10:14 pm janicec slab party would be nice, I see you still have plenty of room between the palette of bricks, use them as tables heh There's probably a trendy bar in London or Melbourne that has that exact theme. janicec fingers crossed your brickies start work soon - we're still waiting :/ We saw your wait. Hopefully the weather will pick up a little and they'll be with you soon. Re: Ben Trager - Secret Harbour. Woah there! Moving fast. 156Sep 17, 2013 10:17 pm Wowser, that's really fast (and awesome!). Moving fast. 157Sep 17, 2013 11:15 pm We are on track! All our bricks, sand and window frames delivered Friday; door frames, site shed and power yesterday. Didn't get out to check for a microwave though. It thought most tradies had them built into the trailers these days. We did manage to fit in a slab "gathering" Saturday week ago. It didn't rain, but there was a really cold wind. Glad we have our alfresco in the north-east corner of the block!
