There was a bit of a mix up with our formal finance letter not getting sent which means a bit of adelay. We've not heard anything since the start of last week. The last thing we heard was the supervisor was booking earthworks. Hopefully we'll get some good news tomorrow. Re: Ben Trager Homes. Earthworks booked. 89Aug 20, 2013 6:41 pm Mini-update. Got a call today telling us earthworks are booked for next week with the slab booked for the week after. It's starting to feel real! Re: Ben Trager Homes. Site clear and graffiti. 90Aug 23, 2013 6:34 pm Did a drive-by on the way home from work to find the site had been, mostly, cleared and the sand pad prepared. I suspect the contractors as it's our lot number. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Unfortunately BT's spam filter keeps bouncing my e-mails back so I can't send them the pic. Spoke to our consultant who thought it sounded unusual. My thoughts exactly. How to impress your neighbours before the build even starts! Re: Ben Trager Homes. Site clear and graffiti. 91Aug 23, 2013 6:53 pm Hopefully it's just stuff that washes off with water. But yay for site clear Re: Ben Trager Homes. Site clear and graffiti. 93Aug 23, 2013 8:10 pm They actually did the same to our boundary fence, although the neighbors we share the fence with back on to us so it's not a major issue. Yay for site clear! Cant wait to see pics of the slab! My Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=62841 Re: Ben Trager Homes. Site clear and graffiti. 94Aug 23, 2013 10:34 pm Our earthworks completed today also, so clearly we will have a similar build time. Those marks are definitely surveyors marks so there is a base for site set out as this wall must be on the boundary (can't put a surveyors peg in the wall). It will wash off over time, or nothing but a lick of paint or plants to cover it. Better to have that inconvenience that your block or house being in wrong spot! Look forward to keeping track with our builds! My Thread (Halls Head Beach House): viewtopic.php?f=31&t=67006 Re: Ben Trager Homes. Site clear and graffiti. 95Aug 23, 2013 10:42 pm mrsmith It's about time you started your own build thread. It would be good to see some pictures of your build too. I agree about the survey marks but our nice, young neighbours have paid good money for the boundary fence to be rendered and the contractors have just daubed paint on it. I think it's laziness & inconsideration of the part of the surveyor. Re: Ben Trager Homes. Site clear and graffiti. 97Aug 29, 2013 3:03 pm How are you going, furriers, do you have slab down as yet? Site clear and graffiti. 98Aug 29, 2013 8:18 pm Hi momomo. No, nothing since last Friday. No chance of getting the footings this week or slab next week, I'd imagine. Can't help the weather. It's about time for some new photos on your build. Have they finished your render/cladding? Re: Ben Trager Secret Harbour. Site clear and graffiti. 99Aug 30, 2013 12:47 pm They've finished the render, which is nice. Cladding is yet to come. We've had white set, ceilings and cornices done....we're close to lock up (was meant to happen this week, but must have moved to early next week). Pics to follow shortly. Next week is meant to be finer. Fingers crossed for a Monday slab pour for you!! Is there any shading (eaves or trees)? If the sun hits a window directly it doesn't matter too much if it's double or single… 1 12908 9 25306 Congratulations!
