Also - what do you think the red would look like in an all white kitchen... too bold? Re: Would these pendants fit? 2Sep 08, 2009 4:47 pm Is the large really 65cm long, that is very big, I think too big for a 2.4m ceiling. For the small it looks like the rod is fixed but the large you can change the length of the cable. With the small it would be 1.2m above the ground which is below head height. Is this what you want? Red will look great with an all white kitchen, to bring some colour in, is your splashback white as well? Re: Would these pendants fit? 3Sep 08, 2009 7:11 pm The splashback is still up in the air. It will either be white/ivory or mocha. The appliances will break the white up. Below head height is ok as the island bench will be used to sit at. I'm just worried that when the light is on the kitchen will have a red glow. Has anyone else got coloured pendants? Re: Would these pendants fit? 5Sep 20, 2009 3:07 pm MICA are having a special on Bolle pendants today, they look really nice. Think the middle one might be orange though, not red . Re: Would these pendants fit? 9Jan 02, 2010 6:23 am I love those pendents I have been looking at them just now myself also. The red gives off a jaffa colour when on but only the glass I saw it on the shop Does it give a hue to white kitchen??? The red appeals they are large my ceilings are 2700 but I was thinking pretty much a whit kitchen w same red glass upper cabinets behind island to set off the lights??!??!. My island is 3 metres so considering 2 lights only.what's the rule 1 metre 1 light? Did you stick with these lights? I see you logged this in sept. Hope you can reply w photo Re: Would these pendants fit? 10Jan 02, 2010 11:26 am delacruz - not sure of how those actual lights turned out but in regards to the number of pendants we were advised by all the lighting shops / electrician to always stick with odd numbers. For example our island bench is 4m long - we have 3 pendant lights evenly spaced over the benchtop. We were advised the first was to be 1m in from the end, the second another 1m away then the third 1m from the other end (and 1m from the central one.) Some things are worth waiting for.
