Hi all,

We went with battern lights rather than down lights in our new home (still being built).

I understand that its the fixed to the ceiling but we're found some pendant light covers that need to to be hanging about 30-40 cm.
Is this something I can do once we move in or do I need an electrician? IF I can do it, can anyone tell me how?
Should I mention it to the sparky to make sure there's enough lenghth in the wires to pull it down a bit?

thanks for your help,
Anthea

I wouldnt advise doing it yourself and by law you do need a qualified sparky. Talk to the sparky and he will tell you all about it.
