Hi All,
I am also a fan of Vancouver33 after visiting a display house in Werribee, I also met a sales Consultant last weekend and got all the drawings and plans of Vancouver29 with Bath + Powder room option. However, I am unable to determine how decent the Family size will be? I understand the measurement in Floor plan but still without checking a display house I am just not sure how will it look? I really wish they could have 29 SQ house.
I also don't like the idea of having open toilet in Ensuite, can someone please recommend how can this be covered? I have already asked to remove HERS WIR which makes the master bedroom small and don't want to lose another WIR which is next to the Ensuite.
Is anybody building 29 with Bath + Powder room option ?
Thank you
Smiten

Hi Smiten. On the 29 the family room is around 700mm narrower (or is it 900mm) so not a big difference. We went to the display home with a tape measure to try to get an idea of size - that helped. You should be able to get the working drawings of the display home so then you can compare.
We are not building with the bath+ powder option and we couldnt work out a solution to having a separate toilet in the ensuite either
On another note, we have been having ongoing issues with our build but are finally making some progress. Plaster starts tomorrow.
Smiten, our plan is on my blog if you want to see the changes we did.
Hi Muttonchops,
I feel more comfortable as I was thinking not many people are building 29. I have just been on your blog and the journey of house building is amazing and made me exited about my first house, Thanks. If I go ahead with this plan I am gonna annoy you bit with so many questions
I have got the Engineering drawing and figure out the size but I had been feeling it will be small, but as you said tomorrow I am going to bring a measure tap with me and if possible visit the house.
BTW, how much did you pay for "Removed the support/post on the alfresco so its a corner stacker"
Thanks
Smiten
sorry to intrude on this post, but i think i read someone paid $5k for that change.. then im sure recently i read another person say that they no longer offer that option due to the engineering of the house.
