So many different hands means more room for error. Bet you can't wait to have your keys and be on the other side...actually I think that goes for all of us lol fingers are crossed for you and look forward to your proud pics of your beautiful home Re: Building a Rawson Benham 30 in Sydney 12Feb 09, 2016 2:35 pm Hi all. This is where we're up to at the moment. Scaffolding on the back and sides has been removed. I hope we didn't miss anything in our plans - we picked up a few things but I confess I did not check all window heights and that kind of thing. I am feeling nervous now! Which area of Sydney are you in? We're in North Rocks - knock down due to start Friday. I'll be watching your build with great interest! Is the cladding standard blue board? using Tapatalk Edge39.my-letter-box.com Re: Building a Rawson Benham 30 in Sydney 15Mar 08, 2016 12:01 pm Thanks Steve. It's not blue board. Not sure what it is. I'm not really happy with how it's been installed. They put the timber quad on the windows first, then install the board up to the quad which leaves a gap. They then fill it with no more gaps and paint over the top. Is yours the same? Re: Building a Rawson Benham 30 in Sydney 16Mar 08, 2016 12:33 pm Im sorry to hear you have had such a bad run, Fingers crossed it gets better from here on in! May I ask what colour your lighter render is? Jim Re: Building a Rawson Benham 30 in Sydney 20Mar 09, 2016 3:09 pm If it's any consolation, we started in July 2015, and only now after 9 months we have a roof. Very long road so far and no light at the end of the tunnel yet. I'd be interested to know whether a 7 month build only applies to an estate build. using Tapatalk Edge39.my-letter-box.com Just started the Build process for Chifley 42 with Rawson homes, will keep you all posted with the Build progress. 0 2452 No idea about the driveway question, but your price for a house that size including landscaping seems very good! 1 6161 Hi I live in a 100yr old semi and my neighbour added an additional floor last yr and our architect has advised that we can knock down our semi and build a free-standing… 0 37715 |
