So good to see progress happening!! Windows that are in look great, hopefully if they offer you a credit, they give you what you owed instead of some magically figure. Great news about the rental GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 Re: Our first build 652Jul 17, 2016 5:54 pm It really is starting to feel like a house now Charlie! The windows look great don't they...they are already in now so credit seems like the best option. Works out we lose .1 on our energy scale so really not worth making them take them out etc. It feels amazing walking through it...can't wait until you experience it too with your build! After being so bummed about everything it's made me realise how awesome it is and the excitement of our new home is well and truly back! And it's huge inside! The 9ft ceilings make it feel even bigger. We can also see our yard properly now....I could of stayed there all day! Re: Our first build 655Jul 17, 2016 6:40 pm That looks great. Sorry you didn't get the windows you really wanted but at least its not to much of a drop. It is annoying having to wait for things not ordered, you will get use to it sadly. My build started in March and now in August, should be done by September, so with yours starting June I would expect you should be in by Christmas, might only be by a few days but still before Christmas. What plumbing pipe is that in the wrong spot? This was always my worry which is why I measured all my pipes before the slab was poured to make sure they didn't stuff up - otherwise what they will need to do is cut that part of the frame to get to the pipe, cut up the slab to reset the pipe in the correct spot and then do a patch cement job over the hole. It shouldn't cause any issues to your foundation though - I'm just a bit of a neat freak. ~Shellby~ GJ Bridgewater 203 11/3/2016 - Site Work Started 29/9/2016 - Handover 142 Work Days 6 Work Days Over https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80174 Re: Our first build 656Jul 17, 2016 6:44 pm Frames look good!
