Do you have a verandah to sit outside in with baby ? there will be some noise, but should be moderate from outside the house. They may like to be able to hear their radio from each of the areas they're working in, and talk to each other over the top of that. Having open windows is also helpful from the point of view of dispersing the VOC emissions from the new carpet. Probably. Noisy? That depends if they are reusing the smooth edge or installing new smooth edge. That is the timber strip around the edges with the spikes that hold your carpet stretched out. We'll open all the windows in the morning and try to camp out in our courtyard for the day and maybe take a walk for the baby's sleep.
