Hi
Was looking at carpets yesterday and liked a carpet by a company named Redbook Carpets. I don't know much about them but am wondering if they are well know and produce good high quality carpets or are not as good as other companies.
Regards
Rowan

Hi Rowan,

There aren't any bad brands really. They all have to manufacture to industry standards. Its just that some cheaper carpets are made to specifications that don't perform as well as those with higher specs.

My feeling about Redbook is they are predominantly making nylon carpets at the upper end of the nylon market for domestic use (so one of the better domestic nylons. I think Redbook are a subsidary of Feltex (but might be wrong about that). So if you like the Redbook range, no probs there!

Cheers!

Ash.

Hi Rowan - we actually had a Redbook carpet in our bedroom in our last house. It was a 100% nylon ,chocolate brown, carpet and hid all the dirt (not that there would ever be any of that in MY house!! ) , but better than that, it was sooo unbelievably soft underfoot. We were very happy with it.
