After searching and searching for a nice dark chocolate timber laminate floor for our house we found 2 options: 1. QuickStep Wenge - about $48sqm 20yr warranty 2. Formica Zambesi - about $29sqm 15yr warranty They are both 8mm thick with the Quickstep being slightly more attractive because of the V-grooves. I cannot justify spending the extra money on the Quickstep, however there is not much information on the Formica nor do I know of anyone who has used it, or how it looks in a large area. Would be good if anyone has heard anything about this product and could shed some light. Building for the 1st time with M3tricon Site Start was 19th July 07. It's been 2 weeks to Handover for the past 8 weeks. Go figure. Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 16767 Hey Mate, I faced the same issue that you are facing.
