We live in an area where there are some yapping dogs around the estate a couple of people who must work at night and you can hear a bit of that traffic noise. Wondering if they are worth investing in just to try and get a better nights sleep! Re: Noise cancelling curtains? 3Feb 18, 2020 10:56 am They sure do. A mate who I worked for years ago had a client that bought a new townhouse with acoustic problems. Mostly these were a result of the builder not following specs so we installed sound deadening material to common walls. There was also a busy road facing the main bedroom so they had better glazing installed in the window and then sound deadening curtains which were very effective. https://www.acousticblindsandcurtains.c ... b-EALw_wcB Stewie Re: Noise cancelling curtains? 5Sep 24, 2020 12:17 am Back in the '70's when I was working in the Board of Works, we were testing some sound deadening material, it was like a thick blanket and contained lead.
