I want to install curtains over the window/door so need to install a curtain rail and will also install a pelmet. My question is how much side overhang do I need for the curtain rail to ensure that when the curtain is open it does not interfere with the inward opening of the door. I have not ordered the curtains as yet but intend to get curtains that are pinch pleat and lined - hand opened (not corded). Thanks Bruce Thanks Ardo, they are sort of semi concealed.
