So i'm wanting to create a masterpiece for our master bedroom, I'm looking for fabric, however I keep going to spotlight and lincraft and just have not fallen in love with any fabric for our canvas!!
Please any suggestions of other shops selling fabric will be greatly appreciated!!
Loving the fabric in the May issue of Home Beautiful, used as a bed head print, also I can;t remember which magazine it was but they used a floor length fabric, used to hide the tv!!
Laney.

Hi Laney,

Is it the bedhead on page 69, the silvery one, which is part of the Domayne advertising feature? It's gorgeous!

If it is, you are probably better off looking at a shop that specialises in soft furnishing and curtain fabric. Spotlight and Lincraft only have a very limited range.

There is a shop on Toorak Rd in Burwood called Next Fabrics, and they might have something. You could also have a look through the Laura Ashley books at one of their shops (although I'm unsure if you can purchase it by the metre). There is also Warwick Fabrics in Collingwood (although 'Next' do stock some of their products). http://www.warwick.com.au/

If it's not that particular head board you had in mind, but was something completely different, there is a quilting/fabric shop in Centre Road Bentleigh called 'Amitie' http://www.amitie.com.au/# who have a huge range of traditional, modern and vintage style fabrics.

I'm sure there would be a curtain shop in Cranbourne somewhere that will sell you material by the metre. It would be a case of shopping around and looking through their sample books and seeing what is available.

Good Luck!! I'm on the hunt for some powder blue furnishing fabric to (attempt to) make an ottoman. Nothing at Spotlight nor Lincraft.
