We are building the daydream 28 (modified) and I have taken the flooring package with coral, but all the tiles I like are rectified and incur additional laying costs, so I'm just trying to guage an estimate of what the addition cost may be. Thanks 😊 Its not very much if you already have the flooring package included Re: Coral Homes general build thread 7017Jan 21, 2017 9:27 am Hey everyone, can anyone who has had something other than tiles for their main flooring, have you ended up with a step up into the bathroom and toilet due to the tiles being higher/thicker than the main flooring?? Or are we over thinking this?? As our slab is all the same level we were wondering how the different flooring matches up. Thanks Re: Coral Homes general build thread 7018Jan 21, 2017 12:38 pm Hi Everyone, I've been reading back through the thread and I've found some great inspiration from you all. We'll be building in the Wallis Creek estate at Gillieston Heights and we've settled on the Manhattan 23. I'd like to ask about the standard brick selection with PGH- does anyone have a list of the standard bricks that Coral have in their range? Thanks Re: Coral Homes general build thread 7019Jan 21, 2017 12:49 pm Has anyone had a ledge /seat built into their ensuite shower? My hubby hates niches but our shower is double size with head only at one end so thought perhaps a ledge at the other end to put stuff on rather than floor or caddy. Have been quoted $430 or close to and wondered what others were charged (knowing how much things differ) TIA Re: Coral Homes general build thread 7020Jan 21, 2017 12:52 pm Bridgetwitch NicMac03 Bridgetwitch Hello Lovelies! I know that some of you had your alfresco areas made bigger - did Coral charge you around $600 a square metre for this? Seems a lot for just some extra roof!?! And this may be a stupid question, but does it go: quote, then tender, then contract?! I'm such a noob! We asked about extending our alfresco roof and it was going to be about $4500 and it wasnt that much bigger maybe 2/3 metres longer in length so we didnt do it and will extend our deck out past the roof line. And yes when you are happy with the tender then they send for the contract. Thanks for your help! Yeah, we have said "no thanks" to the alfresco extension, and have decided to extend our deck beyond the roof line too! Such a rip off!!! I'm sure our estimate was much less and we doubled our alfresco size but not at hm to check will let you know when back home if you like? You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 8578 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck.
