The only issue is when we get rain - too much. It can overflow.
We could have had an auto outlet but didn't go with it ...
Any ideas on solutions now ?

I looking for something that could work without me there. Re: Fibre Glass Pools - Auto Outlet - Ideas ? 5May 04, 2015 7:24 pm The problem with auto overflow is when using the pool & splashing you will loose water. Then top up , extra salt. & work balancing water .. Unless you have a unused fitting in the pool you know you would need to dig & drill. Cheers Yes - was thinking of a plastic conduit - from the back of the cleaner box - top - to the outside. Would allow run out as needed ? What do you think ? Re: Fibre Glass Pools - Auto Outlet - Ideas ? 7May 06, 2015 9:46 pm Your skimmer would normally be set in concrete. As would be the overflow socket at rear of it . To work as a overflow to pipe needs to run downhill . This would usually mean cutting concrete & paving . Expensive exercise. I thought you could bore through from the outside - I have a slope at back - but a pipe through to allow water to flow through as it reached the top of the box. Nothing fancy. But - would need to be waterproofed etc. Just allow gravity to work. As water got to that level - it would flow out via pipe. Re: Fibre Glass Pools - Auto Outlet - Ideas ? 9May 09, 2015 8:30 am That would work . Just hope there is no reo in the concrete behind skimmer. If you have photos of Formwork before concrete was done it will help. Cheers Re: Fibre Glass Pools - Auto Outlet - Ideas ? 10May 09, 2015 11:22 am wheeliworks That would work . Just hope there is no reo in the concrete behind skimmer. If you have photos of Formwork before concrete was done it will help. Cheers Yes - smart thought - I think I do have pics - will hunt about. From memory the side was done very quickly - ie it is quite narrow - so odds are no reo. The deck part used reo - but much larger. It was poured from truck pretty quickly - into form work. Then coping. I rendered outside with the stuff you buy from Bunnings - looks good. Seems to be the way to go. Its about 40-50+ cms wide on the box side - but "pipe" would only have to be about half/quarter (or less) of that - from edge to outside box.
