It's coming along really well for you..knock on the wood Handover in 3 weeks ? Build thread of our Monaco Lux Q1 - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76750 Update: Handover - 2 Sep Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Lights, Taps, Fitoffs... 602Mar 29, 2016 7:58 am Thanks! Hoping for 3 weeks.. still waiting on our updated PCI date. I'm guessing more along the lines of 4 weeks though since we're having our private inspector go through on NHP rather than PCI as a final check... so that may push things out a little. Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Lights, Taps, Fitoffs... 603Mar 29, 2016 8:33 am Hei Your house looking nice, Its getting close cheers Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Lights, Taps, Fitoffs... 606Apr 06, 2016 1:53 pm Thanks las. We went to Hynes Group (appointment only) prior to our colour appointment. They're the suppliers for Henley. Highly recommend going there first, the amount of tiles they have to choose from is huge! Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Lights, Taps, Fitoffs... 607Apr 07, 2016 8:32 pm So we had our PCI / Pre-inspection today. Wasn't too much to pick, just mostly paint chips, plaster chips and some re-staining on timber, and wrong colour intercom. Splash back got installed as we were there... photo's don't do it justice!! It's all come together so good! Things left to do for handover: Paint / staining touchups Minor plaster fixes Some grout fixes Change intercom face Install Hot water system and controllers Install oven Some timber fill Deliver skirting boards Put on the final render colour to facade Paint front eaves and garage infill Connect front pillar lights Fit off vac system NHP is next Friday with our private inspector - so won't be settling on the day. Though SS is confident the inspector wont find much and we should have keys in about 2 weeks! Then the post handover fun begins.... Our splashback: Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Lights, Taps, Fitoffs... 608Apr 07, 2016 8:38 pm Oh Wow, I love your kitchen. What colour is your splashback? It's Organic on Low Iron Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Lights, Taps, Fitoffs... 611Apr 08, 2016 8:42 am Thanks Millie. We're super happy with how our colours come together. The pot drawers are 1200mm wide. Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Lights, Taps, Fitoffs... 612Apr 08, 2016 8:51 am Hi Snyde, do you know if they do anything at all to your outside area before handover? Ours obviously needs a good clean up at the moment, with bricks. rubbish and mortar everywhere....but I mean the actual land? It's full of potholes, very uneven and the dirt is all pushed up toward the fences. Hope that makes sense. I'm just hoping they level it and give us a nice surface to start with???? viewtopic.php?t=81336 Building with MainVue...Modified Ivory 436...our journey Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Lights, Taps, Fitoffs... 613Apr 08, 2016 9:16 am They should back fill it all so it's somewhat level and looks like a normal block, and should come up just above the concrete slab. The rest unfortunately is up to the homeowner once it's handed over to bring up to the weep holes. I'll try dig out a pic so you can see how our block was left for ya. Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Lights, Taps, Fitoffs... 614Apr 10, 2016 8:35 pm Here's how our block is left. It looks pretty flat - but it actually slopes down quite a bit down to the left over bricks / rest of the backyard. But the soil is pretty much inline with the top of the slab. Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Lights, Taps, Fitoffs... 615Apr 10, 2016 8:44 pm Ahh thanks, that looks a lot better than ours at this point of time. I hope they do the same for us. One of Melbourne Waters conditions with our stupid flood overlay was that minimal fill be brought in....so maybe they won't. You can certainly see a lot of our slab at the moment. viewtopic.php?t=81336 Building with MainVue...Modified Ivory 436...our journey Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Lights, Taps, Fitoffs... 616Apr 10, 2016 8:47 pm Yeah wait till it get towards the end when they do a final site clean. If they haven't backfilled it raise it with the SS... or if you're having a private inspector, they should pick that up too. Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Lights, Taps, Fitoffs... 617Apr 14, 2016 9:38 am Hi Snyde You must be busy and enjoying the house. Hope progressing well in flooring and other things. good luck mate Cheers Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Lights, Taps, Fitoffs... 618Apr 14, 2016 9:43 am Thanks Clueless. Not quite in yet. We have Final Inspection / NHP tomorrow, then keys hopefully next week depending on what the Inspector picks up. Got a long list of to-do's once we get the keys... Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Lights, Taps, Fitoffs... 619Apr 14, 2016 2:25 pm Hi Snyde, Just wanted to say thanks for sharing. I've picked up a few ideas and tips from reading through your thread and I appreciate your efforts. Seeing how nice your all white lower's and bench in the kitchen makes me a little worried about our colour choices. Yours looks great. Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Lights, Taps, Fitoffs... 620Apr 14, 2016 5:28 pm No prob kahy - thanks for the kind words. I'm sure your colour choices will come out great. If you are unsure - you've got until your contract signing to make as many changes as you need. Hi, If you give a set of criteria as to what means 'good' to you, it'll give others prompts to respond. We considered Henley early on but there were two factors that… 1 10532 It seems very clear to me that your contract states that a security account does NOT need to be established so the answer to the builder is NO. If in doubt find a contract… 1 8512 2 31358 |
