The Stockland Residential Team Comment: The new Stockland Schofields community is located on the western side of the railway line near Schofields Station. It's directly opposite Oaklands Estate on the other side of the new Schofields Rd extension. It's amazing that they are charging $1400/m2 of land now. Stockland purchased the 51.5 ha of lands for $103.5 million early this year - which is quite a premium so they won't be able to sell the lots for cheap. Good news for those who have secured lots in the early stages of Oaklands release. Great capital growth I'll say! In other development: the major earthworks in Stage 1 Oaklands Estate is going full steam ahead. Provision for utilities and services as well as stormwater drainage have been put in, detention basin created, provisions for roads and kerbings are ready in some places (Raewyn Crescent, Diana Street, and Perrett Street). Site pegs are quite visible for future subdivisions. A few people have been getting June/July from Rhiannon. This is for Stage 1. I think they are looking at registering all stages at once though. I got the info from fellow Oaklanders who themselves have enquired with Rhiannon.
