It can be very risky to use a shiny interior tile for outside areas. When they get wet they can be like ice.
On a previous house we used a so called "non slip" tile, fine in the dry but deadly when wet with a couple of broken bones to prove it.
We have used a polished rectified porcelain inside with the same tile colour and profile but in a textured finish outside. There is a difference in colour but not slippery when wet.
