Browse Forums Laundry Re: Laundry door 2Sep 15, 2018 10:27 am We have gone for glazing the top half, there is no other window in our laundry. You want light, but if you are in the southern states, windows also allow a lot of heat to escape. You want enough light to be functional but I don't think you want to hang out in the laundry to look at the view. As for fly wire, will you ever leave the door open for air flow? Does it go out to a part of the garden you will use a lot? Re: Laundry door 4Sep 15, 2018 2:00 pm We chose hinged door. Happy with the one the builders put in. It’s translucent so let’s in enough light but frosted so you can’t see in/out. It faces the street corner so privacy is great! We got a screen put on after handover as we have inside cats and there is a great breeze through this door during warmer months Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Building our forever home! Translucent door is a great idea, thank you! Move your linen into laundry and access laundry from your present linen space 1 8494 920 was enough to get the furniture in. We live in a pretty safe area and it’s great to see people walking to the front door. We’re not too fussed about people… 4 3445 Agreed. I just found out today the certifier has not given the final sign off. 2 4329 |
