Browse Forums Kitchen Appliances 1 Apr 18, 2013 11:45 pm Hoping some people can give some advice... We are just looking into buying a dishwasher for our new build and today we noticed that the hole cutout is at the top of the recess. Have just been browsing for dishwashers and most of the installation instructions show the hole down the bottom of the recess. Even the dishwasher in our current house has hole in bottom for water connection and the drain pipe. Does anyone know if this is going to be a problem???? Building the Riva by Dale Alcock Homes. On the newest Asko we have it says you have to run the drain pipe up, offers a bracket to instal to raise the pipe if the hole was not at the top anyhow...go figure.
