Im thinking I would like to place the tv In front of the windows in the middle so lounges would be facing windows and tv. Any ideas much appreciated thanks Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Open living tv placement 2Mar 28, 2020 11:11 pm Sophmay Hi, I’m trying to work out the best layout for our open plan living area. I’d keep the blinds behind TV closed all time. It’s better for the eyes and protects the electric appliances from sun bleach. Dinner area will be in the right wing area, leaving the middle wing as the focal point - the view, the nice furnitures, indoor plants, etc. This way, you can see TV from the kitchen at the back, dinning area from the right wing, and the lounge area from the middle. If you already have a dinning room, then use right wing as study area. It’s bright and hidden away from the crowds. However, it also depends on where the view is, house orientation, etc. Hope you like my idea. Hello!
