I am wanting to add some colour after handover (once my house is built) and would love to see what others have done.
Anyone willing to share photos of their feature walls whether it be paint, wallpaper or other??

My colour theme is grey & white so leaves a lot of scope to add almost any colour

or if there is already a thread can someone point me in the right direction

thanks
Katrina

Hi dimo,

Great thread. My colour theme is grey and white as well, so I'll be following this thread to see what others have to share.

I'm building Newbury 21 with Clarendon and if you follow the link below and take the virtual tour of that house, it may give you some ideas. They have used wallpaper in the Hallway and a couple of feature walls throughout the house. Hope it helps!

Hi Katrina,

Have you thought about what kind of feel you want throughout your house?? Are you a 'stick to one colour' features walls type of girl or do you like something abit different?

All our feature walls are different colours but it's a cohesive look. Have a look at Erins thread too, she has chosen some lovely deep feature walls.

Here's a pic of our master bedroom, it's something abit different. S'cuse the lack of furniture

Thanks deb :D Yup, took a very long time to do them all. I have a very keen eye... can tell when something is not quite straight

Have a good search online first then, and see what kind of styles you like. I would suggest developing some sort of mood board with the colours and furniture etc you like. Good luck!

Kmart $8!!!! All kmarts have them from what i can tell, in around the towels and lighting and doormat sections. Last time i went to the one near me they had red, black, and blue but no pink left. But i'm sure they still make them. Also fantastic furniture do circle mats too in all different colours but they are $19.99 each.

 You could do a purple with more of a grey or mauve undertone...?

What Dollar did in her house is nice!

Sheer Passion by Dulux Delux Range, we have it in the Master, Living and Family. I like to have the same color follow through, we did the same at our last house.

Looks awesome! I will be doing quite a few wallpaper walls and feature paint colors walls. We are looking for the perfect red for the Theatre room (with a hint of cherry in it). Will definitely add this one to my sample list!
