I thought about using it inside our place, but decided it was a bit too grey for me. We went with Hog Bristle 100% for our external, it's light, but more beige than Beige Royal. Re: Is Dulux Beige Royal too light for an external render? 3Jul 22, 2009 2:38 pm I have Dulux Gnu Tan as my render colour - this colour looks dark when you are inside looking at a sample - you need to take it outside. I feel the beige royal is too light but that is just my opinion. Michelle will know. Building in Bella Vista Waters Sydney. P.S. I know you have looked at externals for me before Michelle (thankyou for your time again ) i have had to relook at them as I needed something that would work well for me with a standard colour garage door as i can't afford the upgrade to a timber look 2014 - Prepping to build the Soho 4 with Plantation homes, industrial style 2009 - Built the Brampton with Coral Homes viewtopic.php?f=31&t=15399&start=280 Re: Is Dulux Beige Royal too light for an external render? 5Jul 22, 2009 6:02 pm Beige Royal full strength This looks good! But this coming from someone who's using Self Destruct for my render You're creating a nice contrast with your roof tile and front door and aren't you using some darker stacking stone somewhere out the front ?? I think that's enough feature and the Surfmist will tie in really well too. Re: Dulux Beige Royal for an external render? calling D@N!!! :) 13Jul 23, 2009 2:39 pm Looks great Jess (well done d@n!) I like your roof tiles and I think all the colours blend in well together.
