I sometimes wonder why we are paying people to do jobs for us when my OH has to fix up their work once they have been. If only he didn't work about a billion hours a week he could have done the whole build himself better than half the people we have paid i'm sure! This week he has been plumber, gas fitter, excavator, garage door installer, plasterer and lets not forget electrician! Motors to the garage doors installed. OH fixed them up today as they not very nicely cut out a piece of the cornice to install the bracket and they weren't running smoothly. He moved the bracket, patched the cornice and made them ran smoother. Upstairs bathroom cabinetry completed bar the stone. Of course the plumbing was in the wrong spot for the basins so OH put on plumbing hat and cut and fixed that too! He also straightened up the crooked toilet with that hat on And lastly our concretors have been and started the formwork for the concrete out the back of the house from the drive through. Driveway getting done next week most likely Will be great to see the end of the dirt but will be interesting if it gets done the same day my stone is delivered That too came with small dramas too when they went through the storm water pipe. Its almost funny. Today the OH is being gas plumber and fitting the flue for the gas heater. Something kind of wrong about cutting out finished gyprock and bricks Re: Our OB project..progress photos 817Apr 30, 2016 6:46 pm gandn Massive week as we get closer and closer! Next week is driveway, stone to kitchen/pantry/laundry and 4 bathrooms, tiling finishing and wardrobes install. Took them 4 trucks to deliver the robes today Add in some painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and fireplace fitting! It's a race I have to win. Handover of my current house is May 30th. Will be great having so many post handover type jobs already done. Re: Our OB project..progress photos 820Apr 30, 2016 7:07 pm Franky40 Wow lots happening! Great having a handy hubby!
