Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 127Jul 21, 2014 11:23 pm That is so so good! Yup we had a similar wait after roof cover and it was a killer so happy for you, it will go nice and quickly now you'll have ceilings before you know it Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 128Jul 21, 2014 11:31 pm Looks fantastic Hopeful, so happy for you. I keep thinking all good things come to those that wait............BUT, the waiting part kills me. I really hope that you just keep flowing now, like Rosienchris did when their great float started. It's so exciting. Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 129Jul 21, 2014 11:38 pm Looks great hopeful! Fingers crossed for lots more work done this week. Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 130Jul 22, 2014 4:50 pm I'm so glad things started moving after your wait - I can't see the pictures though so will check back tonight after work - photobucket seems to time out Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 131Jul 23, 2014 3:39 am Ooo wow I can see it now - looks very neat doesn't it?! Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 132Jul 24, 2014 12:04 am These emotional highs and lows grey float started Mon this week then noone has been there for last two days grrr. Starting to see a pattern here each trades start for a day then move to different jobs. Im thinking there is a recent boom in building Im seeing houses going up everywhere! Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 133Jul 24, 2014 1:00 am I feel for you hopeful I remember feeling the exact same frustration, why can't they just start the job and finish it, but they'll get there I promise, I'm sure by the end of the week they'll be all finished and then they can start ceilings/white set! I hate the waiting game!!! Very annoying! Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 134Jul 24, 2014 9:54 am Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 135Jul 24, 2014 12:17 pm What a great size picture recess! We looked at having one at the end of our entry hallway, but just got too expensive. We had a $10K prestart allowance and thought we could get everything we wanted, boy were we wrong Everything adds up so quickly, so the picture recess was one of the things to go. I'm living vicariously through you Hope they're back on the job today! Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 136Jul 24, 2014 12:21 pm I'm with Ardie on that one, the picture recess looks awesome and I love how you will have little down lights in there, it's going to look amazing!!! I didn't even think about doing something like this until the brickie started I think it really finishes a hallway off I love your windows in your master bedroom too, what kind of window coverings are you going for? Sorry if you have mentioned this already in your thread. I'm hoping you have more grey float action today, they shouldn't be far off completion! Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 137Jul 24, 2014 7:49 pm hi Rosienchris havent been to the build today we will be back in Perth tomorrow so hopefully see some progress. I have chosent white wooden shutters for the master windows because I think it will suit the style of the windows and can open righ up to see the view. We will prob go for wooden venetians for the other bedrooms and study and double rollers for living and theatre. Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 138Jul 24, 2014 11:16 pm You have a gorgeous view hopeful I think shutters are going to look so good from the inside and the outside! Hopefully you have a lovely surprise waiting for you when you get back tomorrow Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 139Jul 25, 2014 12:12 am Hey Hopeful, have my fingers crossed that you have lots to discover when you see your house tomorrow Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 140Jul 25, 2014 12:35 am Thanks guys love the support here will keep u posted It seems very clear to me that your contract states that a security account does NOT need to be established so the answer to the builder is NO.
