And why we have a fibreglass pool too. You should see the reinforcing the bricklayer has been putting into our build. Lot's of 'wall rio'! Watched too many friends spend big $$$ on their pools to see them crack. At least with ours it's not so bad. I'm not a fan of small pavers around the pool but it has made a massive difference around the pool! Re: Asha's HGWA build - Pool plan 786Sep 22, 2014 12:23 am You girls are hilarious! Fancy both of you having a special PVC water feature! Go figure!! Re: Asha's HGWA build - Pool plan 787Sep 22, 2014 12:36 am Its the latest must have, Rache - we have one here too, minus the pool Asha that pool is going to be wonderful - perfect for the spot! Re: Asha's HGWA build - Pool plan 788Sep 22, 2014 12:42 am You probley already been told this . But you can pencil compact around pool . So you can pav sooner . You never win you get paving they sink you get concreate that may crack. I used pavers around my pool . They were 4 different shapes and where paved randomly but in a pattern .does that make sense . Lol . We also lived on top of a lot of clay and was worried that pool would pop one day . Once you get the hang of looking after a pOol . It's easy . I became smarter than the pool shop . Lol. My parents are which is why they went with an above ground pool. Our last pool was fibreglass and it felt like forever before we could pave around it - we did look into the pencil compaction but had heard horror reports of them piercing the side of the pool Re: Asha's HGWA build - Pool plan 791Sep 24, 2014 1:52 pm Excuse me you have been very quiet lately lol....busy getting ready for your trip? Not long now! Re: Asha's HGWA build - Pool plan 792Sep 24, 2014 2:11 pm Hehe I've been reading posts but been too lazy to actually write anything. Been crazy busy sorting out final pool plans (and costs ... yuk!), organising our septics/plumber etc as well as starting to get my s@#t together for our trip. My head is just a little scattered ATM and I feel like I'm going round in circles - maybe I need to cut back on the coffee lol Re: Asha's HGWA build - Pool plan 793Sep 24, 2014 2:16 pm asha Hehe I've been reading posts but been too lazy to actually write anything.
