Plus I plan on putting a garden bed along the back fence so I could use the rails to attach wire to for passionfruit and snow peas. haha...... I was going to mention about growing plants on it (which I am also doing although I'm using star jasmine) but thought you may not be into gardening! Whilst I also would have preferred to have all 3 sides the same, I was just glad that I could convince all neighbours to have wood. Our estate allows wood or colourbond, and due to the positioning of our block, we actually have 5 neighbours, and two of them wanted colourbond, the other three wanted wood. Thankfully we didn't end up with a patch-word effect with bits of both! Perhaps your land isn't long enough and they've cut space out of the front to fit. Our land is over 40 m long. Having said that a lot of their facades don't project further out the front than others including classic. Whatever the reason a better explanation would have been nice. S-VE, we lost the $3900 by walking away.....we were a day or two off having to pay the 5%. Putting a review in is a good idea.........I've noticed they respond to posts, not that we need a response but some kind of acknowledgement would have been nice. We certainly felt like they thought they were doing us a favour....it is not right that contracts are signed before plans are approved. It means you are signing a legal document that you already know is not accurate. We kept being told not to worry about some adjustments as they could be done in colours, but those details should be included in the contract. Telling a client that they build over 1000 houses a year so we shouldn't have a problem is not helpful, particularly when your bank and solicitor both think it's not good. Rant over! Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 11156May 25, 2016 9:41 am Speaking of taps, I have looked on my updated plans - does this look right? (the red circles are the taps?) Sorry this is my first time building and not 100% sure how to read plans :/ Why does it look like one of the taps is in my family room? Complete rookie here so apologies for the dumb questions! (also my first time posting pics here...clearly!) Fingerscrossed - M sure do things all around the wrong way. I can't believe you didn't get any response. Seems as though they have too much business. The hatched line it is attached to represents your upper storey roof line it seems. Drafting is pathetic. GE t them to move it or you may never see that tap ever. Unless you'd like a wetbar? In that case you'd better request a drain for the water too then.
