Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Sep 28, 2019 10:13 am Has anyone ever converted their conealed gutters to standard gutters? We have the conealed type, and after 25 years of leaf litter build up the gutters are now rusting, and the fascia is rotting in the corners. I was thinking of changing it over to standard guttering and fascia, but not sure if its ridiculously hard job, or as easy as just cutting the rafters back slightly and nailing new fascia flat, and installing new gutters? My current fasica is an unusual size too, something like 280 x 35 and i cant seem to find it to replace it anyway, and the downpipes are sooo hard to get access to for replacement. Re: Concealed gutter conversion 6May 04, 2020 11:26 am We are very interested in how you did this and the materials you used. Did you do it yourself? We are on the Gold Coast and trying to find a company to do the conversion from concealed to colorbond fascia, without replacing the whole roof. Any info much appreciated. The whole job cost me about $3800 with eaves Hi Jozzsef, I was just reading tour comment from a year ago that you replaced your concealed gutters to exposed yourself. Do you have pictures? Thanks in advance. Also good work doing it yourself!
