Our existing house has 2400mm ceilings, and we will be extending part of the roofline out (we think) by 1.5-2m, and then a whole new section that will be 2700mm. If you have an external roofline that has this ceiling height difference, can you share how it’s been done, trying to get this right in my head before we decide on final plans we need to see your floor plans to better understand the new spaces but easiest way to change ceiling heights is not to attempt to have them match by keeping the dividing walls and inserting a doorway so new and old rooms have separate ceilings and then the height of the new ceiling can be increased by building a taller extension OR by stepping down to a slab on ground 9with or without a link to join the two sections which is much easier for the whole structure if the original floor is on stumps Thanks mate.
