Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 4370Apr 10, 2015 9:57 am Thanks debam bingara - I hope so too. I have sent the bank all of our Tender docs and PCVs so we currently have approval in principal based on the most current costs including what we needed to comply with the DA and the bank already said all they need is the building contract and stamped plans to approve in full. So I hope that its quick...just a matter of M getting everything organised and adding the cost of anything to comply with the building certificate and any land fees that apply so I hope thats not a scary increase. Not sure what would be added and the cost, does anyone know? PCC said We have to mow the block this weekend and hubby already wants new lawn equipment! peg out to be ordered after that. I hope PCC does just order it today as I suggested as we are definitely mowing the block this weekend. Gee I'm pushy Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 4371Apr 10, 2015 11:11 am MGardz Thanks debam bingara - I hope so too. Gee I'm pushy Good luck Just a tip use an old mower to mow your block, ours was uneven, full of rocks And rubbish. We used a cheap one we bought from Masters & it's very nearly had it. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 4372Apr 10, 2015 8:18 pm MrGardz went to the block this arvo and did as he was told "go cut the grass". Since it was raining he only did the area the house is going on. Does he have to go back and do the whole block? I assume the whole thing needs to be less than ankle height. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 4373Apr 10, 2015 9:10 pm Mgardz it has been 10 months now since we moved out - zero lawn mowing for mr Villinaeliters. Our weeds are now tree height in the backyard .... Am tempted to keep them as a cheap alternative to fence screening !!!! We are a) "still locked out of the site" and b) "actually" (truly) blocked out from access to backyard due to temporary pool fence going all the way across the yard .... Am getting the landscapers in to kill any rats/spiders etc before I get anywhere near our yard!!!! 2013 1st tender 24/10 Dep. 18/11 2014 5% 25/02 CDC approval 5/5 Demo 26/5 Pool 3/7 Valid'n 10/7 Slab 11/8 Frame 19/9 Bricks 23/10 2015 Roof 3/12 Lock up 11/2 PCI 31/3 Final insp. & keys 30/4 Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 4374Apr 10, 2015 10:21 pm MGardz our letter says grass to be at ground level KDR. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 4376Apr 10, 2015 10:49 pm A bit confusing actually the letter says we remind you that it is your responsibility to provide us with a site that is clear of grass and rubbish. Please ensure that any grass is mowed down to ground level, this will avoid unnecessary charges being applied to your account for its removal by Masterton. KDR. You'd think in all the years of doing business they'd have templates for their communications...I think we will just go and scalp the whole block lol thanks Marina Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 4378Apr 11, 2015 11:45 am I would have thought that if the building area and the area where they store materials is clear they will be OK with that. After 6 months since we moved out our weeds were at waist height so I went and gave them a good dose of round up, no mowing for me!! Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 4379Apr 11, 2015 11:51 am Edmondss We're just in construction. I called a level 2 electrical contractor and asked for quote to connect from street pole to property pole (3 phase). Ours are overhead - it can probably be different depending on where you are building. Could be major hassle going with our own contractor though - will let you know how it goes. Just one piece of advice on this. We received our quote/invoice from Mastertons preferred electrical contractor last December and we still don't have the electricity connected yet so don't pay before you have to. Wait until they are ready to do the job, better with the money in your bank than theirs.
