Hi all

I guess there are a fair few of us here like me stuck in between the Telstra-NBN dilemma. Our estate has been selected for NBN and no one has any clue at this stage when we will have the privilege of a basic telephone and internet service.

With the Interim wireless solution which Telstra is providing in the meantime, has anyone managed to successfully hook it up to the alarm panel for back-to-base monitoring? Do you know whether the solution supports such setup?

Cheers

I am assuming its the Telstra NextG WLL. Same one as they are providing as an interim solution to all their subscribers who are waiting for phone line.
I am using the Texecom Premier 16 Alarm system.

it doesnt work with bosch alarms unless you get some additional hardware. The product is by Permaconn.

Thought so.
I found this doco on one other thread. Telstra doco. Check out Section 13.2 It says 'will not support alarm panel '
