i have a hills nx8 alarm installed a few months ago and the installer put an auto communicator test in the most annoying time -- every Sunday @ 2AM. I was able to put up with it for a few weeks 'till it got really annoying. my work around is to disable the dialling feature at night and turn it back on again in the morning

i tried emailing the installer but he just won't return my emails. anyone knows how to go to this feature via the keypad? note i got the led keypad if that helps..

thanks.

Hi

The installation manual for the NX-8 is here: http://www.alarmsystemsdist.com/mc_files/3/NX8-installation2.pdf

(The Hills NX-8 is just a rebadged GE-Interlogix).

The location that you need to program is location 51, on page 25. Information on entering programming mode is on page 9 - BUT - you will need to know the master code. If the installer hasn't changed the default (which they should) then it is 9713, but if they have changed it then you will need to get them to tell you the code.

Paul
