Yep, a bulkhead. A lot of shopping over the weekend, spent a lot of time in Bunnings, Ikea, Tilly's lights etc etc... One thing I wasn't sure about was the pendant lights in the master bedroom that the other half chose. With a dimmer though, it could work for a bedroom though…tres chic! Nice finishings so far Jay…can't wait to hear how your PCI goes and what your inspector has to say. We've totally been shopping around too…tons of fun getting all the decor for the house, though I wish I had an infinite budget, that would be way more fun Nitro The Village at Wellard Homebuyers Centre Ultimate Entertainer (Custom) Our Home Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=61358 Re: WA - New Generation Homes (Pg 1 Timeline) - PCI Confirme 631Nov 04, 2013 9:26 am Looks like its ready for you to move in! Goodluck at PCI Re: WA - New Generation Homes (Pg 1 Timeline) - PCI Confirme 632Nov 04, 2013 9:55 am looking great jay.. very exciting times ahead love the ensuite.. love that you have started your garden already aha Home Group WA Monte Carlo Timeline on Page 1 Re: WA - New Generation Homes (Pg 1 Timeline) - PCI Confirme 633Nov 04, 2013 10:32 am Your house looks beautiful! Bet the excitement is getting to you now it is so close The light is nice, I am not the biggest fan of really big pendant lights in bedrooms but I know alot of people love them and they can look good if you tie them into the theme of the room. Love the kitchen and ensuite the most, really hope mine turn out as good as yours haha Re: WA - New Generation Homes (Pg 1 Timeline) - PCI Confirme 634Nov 04, 2013 12:13 pm Where is that pendant light from, jaymak? I love it! Did you get it in white and silver? White, silver and wood always look great together. My only concern would be size (if it's really big). Re: WA - New Generation Homes (Pg 1 Timeline) - PCI Confirme 635Nov 04, 2013 1:14 pm Hi fancy pants, Bought it from here for $89.95 http://www.lightingstyle.com.au/figaro-7-light-pendant-chrome-white.html Cheapest I found online. At the shops it sells for ~$240 (Tilly's Lights) and ~$210 (random ozzy park lighting store) Yep, got it in white and silver. 615mm in diameter and height is adjustable. Our master bedroom is quite big so I'm hopeful it won't look too large hanging off the ceiling! Re: WA - New Generation Homes (Pg 1 Timeline) - PCI Confirme 638Nov 06, 2013 11:11 am Thanks guys! I went by Monday late afternoon and the paving has been done. Just curious though, would you guys be happy with this work or am I seeing things? The patterns looks all disjointed... The only other alternative would be to not have set borders but I'm not sure how good that would look either, especially as you have a step. You kind of need that right angle! It doesn't look too bad to me. I've seen far worse. Building with Dale Alcock Homes in Aveley Our thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=63880 And yes, my pants are indeed fancy.
