S-VE – M seem to want more business, so many ads on the radio for M lately. Tap on a balcony, never thought of that. I think we have one around the side of the alfresco. M are the experts in building, they should be making the suggestions, not their clients. Fingerscrossed – Banks pay M $$ as solicitors don’t so maybe that's why they listen to banks?? Hang around and tell us how your build goes. Carriehhan – You must live on King Street Newtown?? That’s a lot of money for traffic control. Ask to see the invoice. Niteshjethani – Welcome and nice stone (Carrara) for the kitchen. Edmondss – Yes our rainmaker showerhead dribbles for ages after use. If it’s not a leak then what is it? We have gaps under all our hinged doors upstairs. I agree, they know what flooring is going in so they shouldn't have issues with door heights but I imagine you had !diot chippies like we did where they installed the door frames too high?? Saltwater71 – We demolished in Sept 2014 and received keys in Feb 2016. The whole process was 2 years, from signing the contracts, but we weren't out of pocket the whole time. Villinaeliters – Great reality show idea! sandra 2016 – We used Ryan guys for the inspections. The son did our gyprock one and the dad did the PCI. I was more impressed with the report from the son than the dad. In both cases they did it without us. According to our SS, they are a thorn in M’s side even though people think they work too closely to M. They were ok but I'm not sure if I would recommend them. I'm on the fence. Congrats on the validation letter. marina12 – M's review? I must've ignored that. Too busy around move time to notice. How’s your house going? Gibson – Your area looks nice. Nice to see some work on your site. WKVillina – That’s terrible about the robbery. Bleaky – Geesh, I would be sending M the bill too as the lack of heat from your air con is obviously not an issue brought about by you. We have air vents on the split side of our huge backroom, nearer to the staircase than to the sliding doors to the alfresco. I've noticed lately how the heat escapes and the staircase is nice and toasty and so is our laundry, if the door is left open, and there is no vent in there!! I would think that the subject matter experts could've suggested the vents be placed somewhere more practicable. Brettbert – Do the Saturn ones light up so you can see them in the dark? We’re looking at changing our visible switches and powerpoints to those or something similar. Can't stand the silver ones that M have as part of their package. I struggle to turn on the lights at times as the plate doesn't sit flush. Btw, who receives the 90 day list? I did email the lady who gave me the handover keys saying that we aren't ready to provide the list yet and asked who to email it to but she hasn't replied and that was nearly 2 weeks ago. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 11235May 30, 2016 6:12 pm There are two types of Saturn switches. Light up and not. Non light up are cheaper. Can anyone tell me whether masterton have a supplier for mirror/glass/acrylic splash back. Is it something we discuss during the kitchen appointment, tiles, colours? Or is it something I need to get externally (I will be anyway to know the price hack and affordability etc).. Do glass after handover. It is cheaper. You tell them at tile appointment you want glass. Then at colours you tell them you will do it after handover. It is something that you need for the OC. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 11237May 30, 2016 6:24 pm brettbert sachapman1084 Hi. So 90% certain it will be done after handover. __________________________________________ House/Land Package Purchased:02.02.15 5% House Deposit Paid:17.03.15 10% Land Deposit Paid:18.08.15 Land Registered: 04.17 Slab Poured: 15.08.17 PCI: 17.05.18 Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 11238May 30, 2016 7:10 pm Redwynne 90days@masterton.com.au - nice & easy to remember that one.
